Hard Cider Can Design

I was tasked with creating an original hard cider label that connected to Ottawa. I chose to feature Mountain Orchards to highlight the local origins of the cider. The design centers around a grumpy crabapple, set against a dark background to emphasize the bold flavour. The orchard trees tied in the local connection while making an eye-catching can, and is overall one of my favourite pieces.

I also went above and beyond and created a matching carrier for my can. I used elements that were incorporated into the initial design to give it all a cohesive look.

Balanced the design elements to ensure the label grabs attention while adhering to the Canada Food Inspection's criteria.
